The invention discloses a novel use of fluorocarbon varnish. The novel use is characterized in that firstly, a solid color paint layer 100-500 micrometers in thickness is coated on the surface of a wind bade, a fluorocarbon varnish layer 20-200 micrometers in thickness is further coated on the surface of the solid color paint layer after solid color paint is dried, and a fluorocarbon varnish coating is used for preventing the surface of the wind blade from icing. The solid color paint and the fluorocarbon varnish are combined and matched for preventing the surface of the wind blade from icing. By the aid of titanium-free white powder solid particles on the surface of the fluorocarbon varnish coating, the wind blade is more attractive. Since the fluorocarbon varnish is colorless and transparent, the fluorocarbon varnish coating has no hiding power and cannot change the original blade color when used for maintaining and upgrading a former coating of the blade. Besides, the angle of contact of the fluorocarbon varnish coated blade surface with water is larger than 90 degrees, so that water vapor in air is difficult to condense on the blade surface, and further icing degree of the blade surface is decreased effectively.
